The Orthopedic Specialist Center (OFZ) specializes in ensuring or restoring this quality of life. Fabian has been coaching me for the 6th year now. He defines, analyzes, plans, and manages my training. Success has already come, and I continue to improve steadily.

Since 2025, I have been riding for the KMC Ridley MTB Racing Team. This is a very professional MTB team from Holland. The team manager is none other than Bart Brentjens.

Bart won the first Olympic GOLD medal in XCO in Atlanta in 1996! And bronze in Athens 2004.

#Mission Part 5 with the motto #Runway2LA2028 is now underway.

#Mission Part 5 is the preparation for the next Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028. The team around Bart has the goal of winning medals at the Olympics. This is driven forward by the team’s professional support. In addition to Bart and his wife Petra, 12 other people serve the team. These include several mechanics, physiotherapists, communicators, as well as riders, etc.

The team’s namesakes are KMC, the world’s largest chain manufacturer, and Ridley, the bicycle brand from Beringen, Belgium.

With Frank, I work in the areas of strength, athletics, and neuro-athletics, as the name “Functional Body & Brain” suggests. Neuro-athletics involves neural activations in the brain to create optimal conditions for the interaction between brain and body (muscles). These neural activations improve reaction, coordination, reflex stabilization, strength, and dynamics. Everything we need as competitive athletes, not only in competition but also in training.

It is not just a fitness center in the conventional style, but there is also the possibility to train “online.” This is naturally very convenient for me since I now live in Freiburg, but I still want to rely on and access Frank’s expertise. Frank also sometimes supervises me at MTB races.
